Fisher Lassie Cardigan
"A new look for a beloved tradition... FISHER LASSIE is a cardigan version of the gansey sweater often worn by the fishermen of British coastline communities. It features the distinctive stitch patterning of that era, but incorporates modern styling, fit and techniques. This garment is constructed from the top down, starting with the Right Front, followed by the Left Front. Then the Back section is picked up across their shoulder lines. All pieces are worked to the underarm, where they are joined and worked as one to hem. Fisher Lassie has top-down set-in sleeves and a neat, shaped shawl collar making for a cozy cardigan to wear on all your outdoor adventures, on land or sea." Not yet illustrated: the yoke above the mid-vertical line contains panels of stitches that tell a personal connection to the Gansey tradition and Cordova."
