Keynote Speaker: Stephen M. R. Covey



Stephen M. R. Covey is a New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The SPEED of Trust—The One Thing That Changes Everything. He is the former CEO of Covey Leadership Center, which, under his stewardship, became the largest leadership development company in the world. Stephen personally led the strategy that propelled his father's book, Dr. Stephen R. Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, to become one of the two most influential business books of the 20th Century, according to CEO Magazine.  

As president and CEO of Covey Leadership Center, Stephen nearly doubled revenues while increasing profits by 12 times. During that period, the company expanded throughout the world into over 40 countries, greatly increasing the value of the brand and enterprise. The company was valued at $2.4 million when Stephen was named CEO, and, within three years, he had grown shareholder value to $160 million in a merger he orchestrated with Franklin Quest to form FranklinCovey.  

Stephen co-founded CoveyLink, a consulting practice, which focuses on enabling leaders and organizations to increase and leverage trust to achieve superior performance. He recently merged CoveyLink with FranklinCovey, forming the Global Speed of Trust Practice, where Stephen serves as Global Practice Leader.

Todd Campbell works with organizations to understand their strategy and goals and implements talent management programs that improve organizational performance. His areas of focus include management and leadership development, employee engagement, program facilitation, assessments, competency development, performance management, learning and development, career development, executive coaching, succession planning and the development of high potential employees. 

Prior to joining CAI, Todd provided consulting services through SmartGrowth and spent 18 years at KPMG in a variety of roles including Human Resources, Learning and Development, and Product Development. During his tenure, Todd led a number of innovative programs including the implementation of a comprehensive career management portal, the design and implementation of a firm-wide performance management system and competency models, and the creation of a succession planning process. 

Todd holds Master's degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Counseling from Montclair State University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Dr. Timothy M. Bizga, DDS, is a general dentist practicing in Cleveland, Ohio. The practice focuses on comprehensive care, with Dr. Bizga’s special interests in implants, cosmetics and facial aesthetics. He graduated from Saint Louis University with a BA in Biology and earned his DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, at which time he was the recipient of the Francis B. Vedder Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics.

He is currently a member of the ADA, AGD and AACD. He is a graduating member of the Whitecap Institute, where he received advanced implant training. Dr. Bizga is actively involved in CE and lecturing, clinical consulting for The Dental Advisor and Catapult Group, and giving back to the community and dental missions around the world.  

Practice Owners Continuing Education Session 3-Building A Profitable Implant Practice: Dr. Joe Gillespie



Dr. Joe Gillespie has been lecturing and training doctors to place dental implants for almost 10 years. He has twice represented implant research at the International Academy of Dental Researchers and has been published in The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Products Report. He is also a contributing author to A Practical Guide to Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Gillespie earned his DDS from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry after completing undergraduate studies from Southern Methodist University. He completed the Medical College of Georgia's Maxi Implant Course, involving two years of advanced study, and is also a Diplomat of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants, where he served as the organization’s president in 2006. Dr. Gillespie runs a large implant-focused practice in Charleston, SC.

Practice Owners Continuing Education Session 4-Oral Surgery, Various Topics: Dr. Jay Reznick



Dr. Jay Reznick is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His special clinical interests are in the areas of facial trauma, jaw and oral pathology, CT guided dental implant surgery, sleep disorders medicine, laser surgery, and jaw deformities. He also has expertise in the integration of digital photography and 3-D imaging in clinical practice. Dr. Reznick is one of the Founders of the website OnlineOralSurgery.com, which educates practicing dentists and dental students in basic and advanced oral surgery techniques. 

Dr. Reznick received his undergraduate Biology degree from CAL-Berkeley, Dental degree from Tufts University, and his M.D. degree from the University of Southern California
