There are two flights a day on Alaska Airlines.  During the summer Era flies on certain days.  
We have been able to get a 5% discount code from Alaska Airlines for those traveling for out event.    It begins the 22 and expires July 6, in case you want to do some additional travel afterwards.

For a hotel style accommodation, consider the Reluctant Fisherman Inn.  They have blocked a set of rooms for us for the event, so be sure to say you are with NET LOFT FIBER AND FRIENDS.  Block ends June 1.  The Reluctant Fisherman is within walking distance of the event.

ORCA ADVENTURE LODGE

Orca Lodge was in recent years the site of a functioning salmon cannery.  Recently converted to a lodge, located within a few minutes drive from town, this housing opportunity has a few different options.  One of its special features is the cookhouse with chef in residence.  There are a few group family style rooms that if reserved soon would be a great opportunity for this group for groups coming together or meeting up for the event.  They are kindly offereing us a special rate for the event.   They are not available on line so they will need to call for these rates.  
Room with 1 queen bed- $135 per night  
Room with 2 queen beds- $159 per night  
Two bedroom suites with up to 4 beds- $185 per night  
For those looking to travel with pets,   they do allow pets, with a $30 "companion"  fare.

Orca is right next to the water and has great scenic views.  If you are coming with a family, there are family suites such as the two bedroom suites listed above, and there are activities such as halibut fishing based right out of the lodge.  Rooms are not fancy in any way, and hte environment is truly the remains of an old cannery, but if you like an authentic rustic experience where you can walk out and watch the otters floating by, you will love Orca.  It is about a five minute drive from town and they have a van that can transport you back and forth at no charge.

BEARS DEN CABINS


Bears Den has kindly offered to sell individual bunks to our group by the night.  You may also rent a full cabin with your own group.  If you have transportation it is one rate and if you need a van it is another rate.

Bears Den Cabins in town has some special offers. 
They are 6 1/2 miles from town so you will have to have your own transportation. There are a couple of options. 
There are four cabins.

“Knitters Camp Style” She is offering two of the larger  bunk style cabins as possibles for someone who just wants a bunk “camp style” .
If you have your own transportation it would be just $50 a night, if you want to share a van it would be $75 ( housing and van) per night per person. They usually do not just have a single bunk rate, but is offering this to us for event. 

If you are looking for something not right in town, this might be a good option for you. There are no restaurants nearby. It is halfway between town and the airport. 

IF you have a group of 6 or 8 and want to share a cabin together and you have your own transportation it would be just the prices listed below. If the group wanted to use the van it would just be an additional $100 a day to be split by the group.

Cabin 1: $175 per night with Queen and full size Futon and Kitchen/bathroom 
Cabin 2: $175 night 2 bunk beds and full size Futon and Kitchen/bathroom 
Cabin 3: $200 night for group of 6 bunks and kitchen / bathrooom $300 with vehicle 
Cabin 5: $225 night for group of 8 bunks and kitchen/ bathroom $325 with vehicle

For larger groups:
Yellow House $2150 for week plus $150 cleaning fee.  There are 3 bedrooms and it could handle a group, so could be a good rate if divided up amongst several people.
This is a nice accommodation and great for a large group.  Sleeps 8.  Within walking distance of event.
