2025 Keynote Speaker, Nick Mott

Nick Mott is a print and audio journalist based in Livingston, Montana. He’s host and creator of the podcast, The Wide Open, which is all about the Endangered Species Act. He's also co-author of the book This is Wildfire. His work on public lands, climate, wildlife, and the environment has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, High Country News, Time, NPR, and more. 

He’s also produced the Montana-based podcasts Threshold, Fireline, and Richest Hill, among others. His audio work has received some of the highest honors in the field, including two national Edward R. Murrow Awards and a Peabody.
